Belfast fan-favourite Jamie Conlan will face a Czech champ in his next fight.

The 29 year old will face Patrik Bartos [7(6)-9(4)] in an eight round bout at the Ice Arena in Wales on Saturday July 16th live on Boxnation.

Last month Bartos won the Czach super bantamweight title, but will move down two weights to challenge super flyweight Conlan.

In recent times Conlan has become known for his Fight of the Year contenders with Junior Granados and Anthony Nelson, but the MGM boxer will be looking for a more dominant performance against the Central European who has lost each time he has fought on foreign soil.

Conlan is joined on the Welsh card by cruiserweight Gary Sweeney, welterweight Tyrone McKenna, and co-headliner Gary Corcoran who takes on home favourite Liam Williams for the British and Commonwealth light middleweight belts.

There is also World title action on the show next week with WBO lightweight champ Terry Flanagan facing South African Mzonke Fana, and WBA super bantamweight king Guillermo Rigondeaux fighting Liverpool’s Jazza Dickens.
