Cummings to debut in London on February 22

CONRAD Cummings will make his debut in York Hall Bethnal Green in less than three weeks.

The Cyclone Promotions middleweight, who trains alongside Belfast favourite Carl Frampton in London, will punch for pay for the first time on the undercard of Tony Conquest and Daniel Ammann’s Commonwealth title fight.

The Holy Trinity graduate will fight a yet to be confirmed opponent on the same weekend the National Elite Championships glove off. The former WSB fighters debut will be broadcast on Boxnation and takes place a matter of weeks before his ‘home’ debut, set for The Odyssey Arena on the undercard of Frampton’s World title eliminator.

Speaking on social media the middleweight prospect said,

“My team and I have decided it would be best for me to get out and fight before this fight (April 4 Odyssey clash)  as we feel I will be more than ready. So I am delighted announce I will be making my debut in less than three weeks on February 22nd in York Hall Bethnal Green East London on a Frank Warren show.”
