Cummings: I would fight Quigley in the morning
‘Let’s get it on’ – That’s the message Conrad Cummings has for Jason Quigley and not in a Marvin Gaye way!
The Cyclone middleweight is open to a clash with the Golden Boy prospect. Most would suggest the former amateur rivals should let the fight build and the rivalry grow, but the undefeated, Shane McGuigan-trained popular fighter would take the fight in the morning.
Cummings lost to Quigley in the 2013 National Championships that propelled the Donegal fighter onto the International team where he caught the eye of Golden Boy with European gold and World silver medal wins.
However, the Tyrone man is adamant Quigley got the decision, but didn’t really win the fight
Speaking to Kevin Byrne in The Sun, Cummings said that “I’ll fight Quigley in my back garden in the morning if he wants.”
“He didn’t beat me in the Seniors, he knows it. It’s good to be part of such a rivalry, if the people want it let’s get it on.”
