Cummings: Fair play to Meli for taking the fight but he’s just another step on the ladder
Today saw the opening press conference for the Cyclone small hall cracker ‘All on the Line.’ The November 20th card at the Waterfront Hall is topped by the Ulster middleweight BBBoC Celtic title clash between Conrad Cummings and Alfredo Meli.
Afterwards, Sports View London caught up with Cummings, and the Coalisland fighter expressed his excitement ahead of his first headline bout saying that “it’s something you dream of as a kid, it’s a bit surreal.”
The hot prospect was complimentary of his Belfast foe as “he took the fight, where other guys didn’t want the fight.”
Nevertheless, ‘Dynamite’ Cummings is confident ahead of the clash explaining that “it’s another step on the ladder.”
“I’m not looking past him, it will be ten hard rounds – but he’s not getting in my way.”
Tickets for ‘All on the Line’ are available from £35 and can be bought from: The boxers involved / www.cyclonepromotions.com / www.waterfront.co.uk / or by calling 028 9033 4400.
