Cummings calls on MTK to make second consecutive rematch
Conrad Cummings is open to returning from his rematch reverse to Luke Keeler in another repeat.
The Coal Island fighter lost for a second time at the gloves of the Dubliner in WBO European rankings title action at the Ulster Hall last march – and having taken sometime to think post a lose that left him bitterly disappointed has elected to fight on.
When, where and against whom the middleweight will return against remains unclear, but it seems another former foe would only be too happy to trade leather again.
Ferenc Berki took to Twitter yesterday to warn ‘Dynamite’ he is ‘coming’ for him. The Hungarian seems to want a rematch of their December WBO European ranking title meeting.
Seemingly to increase his chances of being handed the opportunity to avenge his sole career defeat Berki tweeted the following.
I’m back in training camp. This is going to be my toughest training camp ever! @ChampCummings you better be ready, because I coming for you!! #cummingsberki2 #wbfchamp @MTKGlobal @Boxing_24x7 pic.twitter.com/WyNClvhwYa

Cummings response was more than positive and he seems only to happy to oblige.
While the Tyrone fighter holds a win over the Hungarian he would prove better than your average comeback foe. Berki will come full of talk and build the fight not to mention his profile and record may allow the Jamie Moore trained fighter to shorten any proposed ‘rebuild’.
I beat you once and I’ll beat you again…@MTKGlobal get this dude lined up for a rematch, he wants it!💥#AllTalk https://t.co/kOkTGlnxwh
