Con Sheehan to fight on massive World title undercard
Con Sheehan [1(0)-0] has been handed a spot on the undercard of one of the biggest fights in World boxing this year.
The Peter Fury-trained Tipperary heavyweight will appear on the Tyson Fury v Wladimir Klitschko undercard at the Manchester Arena on October 29th.
The Clonmel fighter recently linked up with Team Fury and MGM and is reaping the benefits, with two fight dates in England this month, an Irish homecoming in Belfast in November, and now a high-profile slot on a World title undercard.
Sheehan joins Fury’s cousin Hughie, who takes on unbeaten Mexican-American Andy Ruiz, on the card, and it is hoped that Irish welterweight champion Peter McDonagh will also feature.
