Collins and Kennedy to make thier American debuts this month
CELTIC Warriors Steve Collins Jr and Niall Kennedy will go to war on The Battle at the Armory card in America later this month.
The cruiserweight and heavyweight prospects are down to fight in separate bouts at the Quincy Armory in Quincy MA on June 27.
The Pascal Collins trained duo will get the chance to impress American fight fans on a card topped by local favourite Chris Traietti.
The pair have benefited from the Celtic Warriors close links with Murphy’s boxing, who promote Gary ‘Spike’ O’Sullivan and will be looking to extend their unbeaten records on the card.
Former heavyweight amateur of note Kennedy debuted in the Red Cow last month and will be looking to go to 2-0, while Collins Jr will be keen to continue his impressive development by pushing his slate to 6-0-1 a week before he fights in the National Stadium.
