Change of management for Thomas Finnegan

Tallaght super middleweight Thomas Finnegan [2(0)-0] has switched management outfits as he looks to proceed with his career.

The Dubliner began his career earlier this year with Red Corner Promotions but has switched now to work with veteran boxing man Tony Davitt.

Finnegan debuted in February and came through a very tough first fight with Alejandro Mostazo.

He followed this up with a dominant win over Santos Medrano during the Summer.

Both of these appearances came on Red Corner cards, with Stephen Kavanagh in the corner first before Steven O’Rourke coached him for his second fight.

Now with Davitt, ‘Victorious’ Finnegan looks likely to feature on the ‘Celtic Clash’ series of cards in future.

The 29 year old Dubliner said that “I’m very thankful to Red Corner Promotions for getting me started with my career, I just want to move forward with my boxing and onto bigger and better things.”

“I’m happy the differences between us are behind me now.”

“Tony Davitt is a great coach and I’m looking forward to my future. Winning titles are my target for next year.”
