Carroll draws the favourite in Prizefighter quarter finals

IF Jono Carroll is to win Prizefighter the lightweights III this Saturday night he will have to do it the hard way.

The Celtic Warrior Gym fighter has been paired with Stephen Foster Jr the tournament favourite at the quarter final stage and is in the same side of the draw as former Prizefighter winner Gary Buckland.

Both Foster and Buckland have been tipped to win the tournament and are vastly experienced in comparison to novice pro Carroll.

Former British champ Foster has faced some big British names over his 39 fight career trading leather with the likes of Anthony Crolla, Alex Arthur, Derry Matthew and Buckland.
