George Groves and Carl Frampton have been having a public spat via various media platforms recently.

One ‘jealous c*nt’ Groves outburst aside the pair have been quite slyly insulting each other over the last few weeks – and it’s become obvious there is some beef between the former gym mates.

Earlier this year the pair had a bizarre brief altercation on social media.

Groves blocked Frampton for correcting him on a spelling mistake and the seemingly small incident lead to the pair falling out.

During a JOE TKO Podcast interview with Callum Smith, who knocked out Groves in his final fight last year, Frampton attempted to get the English fighter back, asking Smith: “In that fight, how do you feel about Groves?”

“Obviously you won the fight pretty convincingly. Was there an element of ‘quit’ in him?”

Groves bit and hit back in more direct fashion.

“If you’ve got something to say half pint then say it to me, you jealous little c*nt. You know f*ck all about me, and f*ck all about what it took to even make it to that fight. I’m not going to let little haters like you diminish my career. Research my career, see what I overcame and try and find ‘quit’ in me,” he said online.

Groves then questioned Frampton and his super featherweight capabilities on a recent podcast in another indirect way to try and insult the Belfast man.

Rather than continue the sly verbal sparring, ‘The Jackal’ revealed what was happening on his own podcast this week.

Frampton admitted the feud started after Groves had blocked him on social media and grew when the former super middleweight world champion blanked him some months later.
