Carl Frampton given beautiful custom-made hurley

Two-weight world champion Carl Frampton is more a fan of Crusaders FC than Antrim GAA, but a gift given to him today may convince ‘The Jackal’ to start attending a few games at Páirc Mac Uílín.

Belfast’s WBA featherweight champion was presented with a personalised hurl today by ProGaa, a shop on Beechmount Avenue.

A fine piece of ash, the camán is adorned with images of the current WBA featherweight champion.

ProGaa specialise in custom-made hurleys, and this year hit the headliners for making what is believed to be the World’s largest ever hurley.
