Burnett: Nothing to worry about my brain scan just didn’t reach doctor on time

RYAN Burnett revealed he didn’t fight on the This Is Belfast fight card because there was an issue with his brain scan, but assured fight fans he didn’t fail the medical, stressing it just didn’t make the doctor on time.

Burnett left the Odyssey distraught after finding out he couldn’t fight on Friday night and after news broke there was an issue with his medical and brain scan in particular fight fans feared the worse.

The Ricky Hatton trained Belfast prospect had to wait over a year for a license after some scan issues, but he took to twitter to state that he didn’t fail the medical stressing it just didn’t reach the doctor before the deadline.
