British Board Issue Statement after receiving Tyson Fury complaints

I HAVE received numerous complaints about the behavior of Boxer Tyson Fury from the media and members of the public, relating to the Press Conference which took place for his forthcoming contest against Dereck Chisora in Manchester on the 26^th July 2014.

Obviously, as General Secretary of the British Boxing Board of Control, I am concerned, disappointed and offer my personal apologies to any individual who may have been offended by such conduct.

The matter will be discussed at the Board meeting on Wednesday, 16^th July 2014, following which I will issue a further statement thereafter.
