Avalos will ‘dominate’ Carl Frampton says manager

Chris Avalos will dominante and dethrone Carl Frampton on February 28 claims his manager Mike Criscio.

Frampton faces his mandatory challenger at the Odyssey Arena in what is the first defence of his IBF title, but his opponents team are confident their man will upset ‘the Jackal’s’ sizeable support.

Criscio warns against looking into Avalos’ two career defeats, stating his fighter has sick in one clash and robbed in another.

He also says his fighter has had it tough from the off and is ready to rock the champion come later this month.

“Chris is ready to rock. I think Chris will dominate Frampton. Chris is very tough, strong, has a lot of pride and is hungry to win a world championship,” said Criscio

“All my fighters are in real fights from the start, they don’t have padded out records.

“Chris has lost twice but he was ill before one and in the other he was robbed. We are going to Belfast to win,” he added.

Carl Moretti, Vice President of Boxing Operations at Top Rank also predicted the American and not Frampton will celebrating come final bell time.

“Carl Frampton is a terrific young champion, but with Chris’ punching power it really doesn’t matter where the fight is. The partisan crowd won’t affect Chris at all.

“He has one goal, to become the new IBF champion.

“There will be plenty of celebrating after the fight, but it will be Chris and his team having the honours.
