Anto Upton withdraws from November 5th fight

Anto Upton [13(5)-1(0)] has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled fight date next weekend.

The light welterweight was due to appear on the November 5th Hellraiser card at the York Hall in London, but has pulled out due to illness.

The youngest of the three boxing Upton brothers will now fight on a to-be-confirmed date in December.

The three brothers recently changed trainers, parting company with Ricky Hatton and joining up with Londoner Barry Smith.

As a result, Anto relinquished the English title he won via knockout against Luke Paddock during the Summer as he required a few easing-in fights to adjust to his new trainer and as therefore unable to defend the belt.
