Andy Lee Makes Short Work of Duran

Andy Lee made quick work of Mexican boxer Saul (Baby) Duran in the Detroit suburb of Novi, Michigan on Saturday, March 10, 2012.
Andy Lee is trained by Sugar Hill of the famed Kronk Gym. Lee fought his first
professional fight in Detroit six years ago and now has a record of 27 wins, 1 loss, 19 knockouts. The victory sets Lee up for a possible world title fight against WBC champ Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in June.
Duran who fought on short notice after several other opponents dropped from the card due to injury or other problems. Lee’s 6′ 2″ lean frame was no match for the 39 year old Mexican. Mr. Lee stated in an interview after the fight that he felt that the bout could have continued despite the opponent taking a knee early in the second round.
