eir Sport’s new series ‘The Fighter’ continued yesterday evening with a Taylormade double act..
Presented by the Irish Sun’s Kevin Byrne, the series consists of extended sit-downs with top Irish boxers, with middleweight contender Luke Keeler [15(5)-2(1)-1] and lightweight prospect Gary Cully [7(4)-0].
The pair are both in action at the Ulster Hall in Belfast, with Keeler headlining in a rematch against Conrad Cummings while Cully features prominently on the undercard.
The two spoke of their training under Pete Taylor, their differing backgrounds in the sport, and their ambitions going forward.
