Monaghan looking to impress Irish public

Seanie Monaghan is planning to bring Navan and Long Beach’s St Patrick’s Day celebrations to an explosive end tonight. The light heavyweight fights Eric Watkins on the under card of Sergio Martinez and Matthew Macklin’s world title fight and is promising a knock out victory.
The American born fighter of Irish parents, who was famished at yesterday’s weigh in, is also hungry for success and wants to impress the Irish public by taking the short route to victory.
“It is going to be some night. St Patricks Day in the Garden I can’t wait. I just want to get in the ring and do the business now. I am starving so I cant wait to get on the scales and eat! I am looking to impress,” Monaghan told www.irish-boxing.com. “I want the people in Ireland to see I am the real deal. I am definitely going to register a knock out. We are working on going to Ireland hopefully we can in the summer.”
