First fighter confirmed for first Dublin show of 2018

Liam Gaynor is the first fighter confirmed on thefirst Dublin show of the New Year.

SK Promotions revealed they will run their second show at City West on February 3rd pre Christmas and today confirmed the first name to trade leather on the show.

Gaynor was confirmed on the roster by Stephen Kavanagh’s outfit.

The Tallaght teen made his debut in an entertaining clash with Belfast’s Alex Bazza in May of last year and followed it up with victory over former Willie Casey and Eric Donovan foe Krzysztof Rogowski on the inaugural SK Promotions show in November.

The Kavanagh trained 19 year old featherweight will now attempt to push his record to 3-0 on Saturday February 3rd.

An opponent has yet to be confirmed while the remainder of the line-up for the show will be announced in the coming weeks.

SK Promotions promise that there will be “some great up-and-coming talent and local prospects to fight on the card” added.

The City West show joins the MHD bill in Belfast on the same night and is one of five confirmed shows for this year with the Neil Power show in Waterford on February 17th, Ireland’s Last Man Standing on March 3rd, and the big Carl Frampton v Nonito Donaire bill in Belfast on April 7th.
