Double addition to December shows
The two Irish shows at the start of December continue to fill up.
The first weekend of December sees the final two Irish shows of the year take place, with both looking set to be bumper Christmas specials.
First up, on Friday December 1st, is ‘Danger at The Devenish 2’ in Belfast, run by Ginley Promotions.
Then on Saturday December 2nd there is ‘Celtic Clash 4’ at the National Stadium, run by Boxing Ireland and Tony Davitt.
Both outfits are running their respective third shows of the year and both look to be their best offerings yet.
New fighters have recently been announced for both bills.
Derry super bantamweight Tyrone McCullagh [8(4)-0] will feature on the Friday. ‘White Chocolate’ headlined the previous Ginley Promo card in September but fell victim to numerous pull-outs beforehand and an eventual opponent who got himself disqualified early. It is hoped the former top amateur can get the tough fight he has craved for so long on this show.
McCullagh joins super middleweight debutant Taylor McGoldrick, BBBoC Celtic welterweight champ Paddy Gallagher, Alfredo Meli, and Dublin trio Phil Sutcliffe Jr, Ian Tims, and Stevie Collins.
Cork super middleweight Vladimir Belujsky [1(1)-0-1] then was confirmed for Saturday’s show. Following a disappointing debut draw in March, ‘The Slovak Rebel’ bounced back last month with a stunning second round knockout of Dublin’s Manny Bique.
The Assassin Boxing 22 year old joins John Joyce, Jake Hanney, Anto Cacace, Stephen McAfee, Michael Gallagher, James Cahill, Martin Quinn, Dylan McDonagh, Craig O’Brien, Colin O’Donovan, Thomas Finnegan, Niall O’Connor, and Eric Donovan on the bill which also features a BUI Celtic welterweight title clash between Crank Whitehouse and Jay Byrne.
