Belfast show CANCELLED

The card in Belfast this Friday has unfortunately been cancelled.

The Kieran Farrell Promotions bill at the Devenish Complex on October 6th has tonight been pulled.

Initially due to be headlined by a Celtic Nations middleweight title fight between Sean McGlinchey and Ger Healy, this fight was was scrapped due to McGlinchey being put out of action due to a virus.

The chief support bout, a fight between Pádraig McCrory and Jade Karam, was then upgraded to a Celtic Nations super middleweight title fight.

However, late pull-outs and difficulties in buttoning down opponents for the night have seen the entire bill has been cancelled.

Dylan Moran, Sean Creagh, Mark Morris, Jono Carroll, and Alfredo Meli were set to feature on the undercard.

Thankfully for Waterford’s Moran, he has secured a fight the following night on the Red Corner Promotions ‘Champions Elect’ bill at the National Stadium.

This is the third Irish card cancelled on fight week this year following the It’s A Bout Boxing Ireland ‘Táimid Laochra’ bill in April and the Cyclone Promotions ‘Return of The Jackal’ card in July.
