New trainer confirmed for Conrad Cummings
Conrad Cummings [11(5)-1(0)-1] has this evening confirmed his new trainer as he begins the next chapter of his career
The Coalisland middleweight last week confirmed that he had parted company with the McGuigan family following a meeting in London.
The announcement saw Cummings follow Belfast’s Carl Frampton out the door of Cyclone Promotions and McGuigans Gym – and he has now joined ‘The Jackal’ under Jamie Moore.
It has today been announced that the Tyrone pressure fighter has linked up with the former Irish, British, Commonwealth, and European light middleweight champion.
Cummings has been over at the VIP Gym in Astley on trial and a full-time link up with Moore has now been confirmed.
Excited to announce I’ve teamed up with @JamieMoore777 as my new trainer, I can’t wait to start the next chapter of my career! 👊🏻 pic.twitter.com/CC1qsh7oGf

The gym is currently packed, with Moore looking after Oliver Harrison’s fighters as his fellow Salford trainer recovers from health problems. There will therefore be plenty of sparring for Cummings with the likes of four-time middleweight world title challenger Martin Murray and current British and Commonwealth super middleweight champ Rocky Fielding.
A promoter and manager for Cummings is still to be confirmed.
The 26 year old has been out of action since his WBO European title win over Gogi Knezevic in March.
