Refund details for Carl Frampton v Andres Gutierrez

Cyclone Promotions have released details of refunds for the cancelled Carl Frampton v Andres Gutierrez clash.

The bout, set for last Saturday at the SSE Odyssey Arena in Belfast, was cancelled on Friday night after the travelling Mexican slipped and fell in the shower causing severe dental damage and facial lacerations.

Cyclone confirmed in the aftermath that they were in negotiations to refix the fight for some time in the near future, with Gutierrez proposing a November fight date – although ‘The Jackal’ himself spoke of his desire to skip ahead to a world title fight next.

This afternoon Cyclone announced that refunds are now available for ticket-holders through their original point of purchase – although tickets can be retained and will be valid for the rescheduled date.

The Irish promotional outfit also stated that they are “now working towards rescheduling and announcing a new date as soon as possible.”

Crucially though, Cyclone have informed ticket holders that retained tickets “will only be valid for the Gutierrez rescheduled fight.”
