Spike O’Sullivan scores dominant stoppage in Murphys Boxing headline fight
Spike O’Sullivan scored a big stoppage win in his headline fight in Boston tonight.
The Cork middleweight topped the bill at the Plainridge Casino in Plainville, and claimed a second round knockout over Chauncey Fields, knocking the American down four times in the process.
The Celtic Warriors Gym fighter had seen his stablemate Ray Moylette win by first round stoppage earlier in the night, and claimed an inside-the-distance victory for himself in the headline fight.
O’Sullivan had plenty of success to the body, crumpling Fields twice in each round as he scored an easy victory.
The win sees O’Sullivan improve his record to 25(17)-2(1), while the overmatched Fields drops to 4(2)-3(2).
With the keep-busy win in the bag, O’Sullivan will be hoping for a big fight in the near future.
