European U22 Championships – DRAW
Seven Irish fighters are just two wins away from guaranteeing a medal at the European U22 Championships in Romania following this morning’s draw.
The tournament in Braila begins today and Waterford middleweight Keyln Cassidy is the only Irish boxer in action on the opening day.
The Irish U22 champion and Intermediate runner-up meets Armenia’s Armen Minasyan for a place in the Last 16 in the evening session which begins at 5pm (Irish time). Romania is two hours ahead of Ireland.
