Fury reveals Deontay Wilder fight offer and proposed date
Rising heavyweight star Hughie Fury [20(10)-0] claims that he has received an offer to face WBC champion Deontay Wilder early next year.
The 22 year old has confirmed that he is willing to take the fight, with Saturday February 25th being the proposed date for the clash.

Wilder [37(36)-0] would be making the fifth defence of his title after making a speedy recovery from two surgeries to repair a broken hand and a torn bicep sustained in his most recent fight against Chris Arreola in July. The Alabama fighter is mandated to face the winner of Alexander Povetkin v Bermane Stiverne, which takes place in Russia next weekend, but it seems as though he is aiming to squeeze in a voluntary first.
Fury himself has not fought since his win over Fred Kassi in April, taking time off to recover from Acne Conglobata. The Manchester-born big man also rejected an offer, considered by his team to be too low, to face Anthony Joshua this weekend.
The World Youth gold medalist is world title hungry, and also has his eye on the winner of the WBO vacant title fight in New Zealand this Saturday between home favourite Joseph Parker and Mexican-American Andy Ruiz Jr (whom he has previously agreed to fight).
Wilder or winner or Parker Ruiz. Their my next fights don’t care what first. Their will be hopefully announcing the fight this month.
