1999: Eamonn Magee claimed the Commonwealth light welterweight title at the York Hall in London. Facing veteran Paul Burke in a rematch of their title clash ten months previosly, Magee scored a sixth round stoppage to take home the rainbow belt. Their initial meeting was hugely controversial, with Burke being handed a baffling points (115-114) win. This time however the judges were not needed as The Terminator downed his man thrice in thee sixth to win the title. Magee would later successfully defend the title five times.
