Hughie Fury doesn’t turn 22 until next week and has seen his career plagued by a severe, draining, case of Acne Cognoblata.

Nevertheless, the heavyweight youngster, still has a 20(10)-0 record and holds notable wins over the likes of Andriy Rudenko and Fred Kassi.

Next month, on the undercard to his cousin Tyson’s World title rematch with Wladimir Klitschko, Fury faces another good opponent in Mexican-American Andy Ruiz Jr [28(19)-0]

The October 29th clash at the Manchester Arena will also be Fury’s first with a clean bill of health, having treated his skin condition over the Summer, and promoter Frank Warren posed the question: “He has won all 20 of his professional fights with a debilitating skin condition, so how good is he going to be now he is fully fit?”

Warren has high hopes for Fury, who many in the family label as the most dedicated and talented of the bunch, and he explained that “Hughie is a fighting man; he’s done things the hard way.”

“20 fights in three years is a phenomenal record for a heavyweight fighter.”

“We know he’s got gas and he’s been tested against some awkward opponents.”

“The division is certainly opening up and I can see Hughie being a dominant figure for years to come.”
