First fighter confirmed for November 5th Dublin show

Ballyfermot’s Luke Keeler has confirmed himself as the first boxer on Red Corner Promotions’s debut show this November.

The Dublin middleweight will fight on the National Stadium-hosted show on Saturday November 5th in what will be his first bout back since his second loss against Tom Doran.

The Celtic Warrior puncher was knocked out in the second round of his Fight of the Year contender with the Welshman back in April and has been rebuilding since.

An Irish middleweight title fight between Luke Keeler and Darren Cruise was ordered by the Boxing Union of Ireland earlier this Summer, and could be a potential match-up for the card – although the situation regarding Army man Cruise’s work commitments is unconfirmed.

Keeler is an encouragingly good, and well-supported, fighter for a debut show and more boxers are expected to be revealed by Red Corner in the coming days.
