WATCH: Team Ireland and RTÉ’s immediate reaction to Conlan robbery
The boxing World yesterday reacted in shock and shame to Micheal Conlan’s controversial defeat to Vladimir Nikitin.
The initial shock has somewhat worn off and been replaced by mourning as the realisation Micheal Conlan will arrive in Dublin airport without a medal draped around his neck.
However, that first reaction of disbelief remains important in highlighting just how disgusting the decision was.
