Frampton will win in destructive fashion says Barry McGuigan
Carl Frampton will be more game plan than game come February 27, says mentor Barry McGuigan.
The IBF champion has had to deal with some mind games and wind up tactics pre his massive fight with Scott Quigg, but won’t let that affect him come fight night says the Irish fight legend.
McGuigan is confident ‘The Jackal’ will remained focused and disciplined and will stick to the game plan laid out by Shane McGuigan and a result will win in emphatic and destructive fashion.
“People see it as a 50-50 fight, but I don’t. Carl’s better in every department,” McGuigan told the Sun.
“He’s going to be disciplined, stick to the game plan and use his skills. If he does that, he wins the fight either by points or knockout if the opportunity arises.
“He looks sensational and I’m absolutely convinced that he will win this fight emphatically and destructively.Carl’s been great in training. He looks very strong, very fit and has been punching very hard.
“He’s got to make sure he doesn’t make mistakes and do his best to get the tactics right. Tactics for both sides will be important, but I’m not going to change my opinion now.”
