Con Sheehan made a winning start to his pro career in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.
The six time senior champion, who is being trained by Andre Ward and Amir Khan’s coach Virgil Hunter, registered victory over opposition deemed tough for a debutante.
The heavyweight prospect out pointed American big punching big Jonathan Rice 39-37, 40-36, 40-36 to get his first green W on Boxrec.
The 26 year old tweeted after the bout,
