Patrick ‘The Punisher’ Hyland has become a Celtic Warrior.
The Dublin super featherweight has teamed up with Pascal Collins and the man the mans the corners of Stephen Ormond, Gary ‘Spike’ O’Sullivan, Luke Keeler, Jono Carroll, Steve Collins Jr and Nial Kennedy will coach the Tallaght fighter.
Hyland has been a regular down the Celtic Warrior Gym in Blanch where he sparred regular in recent times, but has elected to become a more permanent fixture in the gym.
The 32 year old, whose only career defeat came in a World interim title fight with Javier Fortuna, was trained by his late father and respected Dublin pro and amateur coach Paddy Hyland for the most part of his career.
When he was based in America former World champion Tracey Patterson trained the Lou DiBella promoted puncher, but now Collins takes the reigns.
Hyland last fought in October, but has revealed a 2016 World title desire and is hoping for a return to the big time over the next 12 months.
