IABA confirm squad for European Schoolboy Championships

The IABA have confirmed an 18-strong squad for the European Schoolboy Championships in Anapa, Russia.
The 2015 edition of the tournament will run from October 31st to November 9th at the Black Sea holiday resort.
Ireland’s boxers, some of whom include current European and European Union Elite champions Joe Ward and David Oliver Joyce, both APB boxers, and current IBF World pro champion Carl Frampton, have claimed medals at every European Schoolboy Championships since the inaugural tournament in Rome in 2003.
Oliver McCarthy, James McGivern and Michael Nevin, the current European Junior champion, secured a hat-trick of gold medals at the 2012 European Schoolboy Championships in Anapa.
