Hogan: Golden Jack is perfect for me he doesn’t like pressure

WBA interim champion jack Culcay can’t handle the pressure claims a confident Dennis Hogan.

And pressure is exactly what ‘The Hurricane’ both loves and plans to bring when they pair meet Max Schmeling Halle in Germany on September 29.

The Australian based Kildare native has studied Golden Jack and believes he doesn’t gleam when he can’t apply an in and out tatic.

So the undefeated light middleweight challenger is ready to get super fit so he can put the German champion on the back foot for 12 rounds.

Speaking to Irish-boxing.com Hogan said,

“My opponent is World class and still carries that very fast in out amateur style. he likes to outbox his opponents. I think that suits my style completely. He doesn’t like pressure which I know from his only loss so fitness will be the key for me in this fight. I am very confident in my ability to disrupt other fighters game plans and catch them with shots they are not expecting. I believe I will win this fight!”

Former light heavyweight Hogan prides himself on his fitness and his ability to make weight without issue and believes he will be fitter than ever for the biggest fight of his career.

“I’m feeling great at the minute. I got to a incredible level of fitness before my last fight and after that fight I’ve had a month to freshen up.  I am exploding out of the blocks now.Over the next few weeks I’ll be here in Brisbane getting good hard sparring and getting my fitness and strength up then we will go to Europe 16 days before the fight to acclimatise. I have excellent sparring lined up there too.”
