McMahon set for massive homecoming- Monaghan gets world title fight

WORLD Title boxing looks set for Monaghan as Christina McMahon eyes up a massive homecoming.

McMahon claimed the WBC Interim World title with a points win over Catherine Phiri in Zambia last month and is close to finalizing a massive fight in her home county.

The popular 40 year old’s team have been working with DBSM Centre of Excellence and plan to announces details of a massive Monaghan World title fight in three weeks time.

It is unsure whether or not McMahon will be making a title defence or challenging WBC Champion Yazmin Rivas for her strap, but either way the undefeated bantamweight will be in a massive and indeed historic fight in her home town and Irish Boxing has another massive night to look forward to.
