UPTON BROTHERS BACK IN LONDON FEBRUARY 7
The Ricky Hatton-trained prospects will face as yet to be confirmed opponents on Mickey Helliet’s dinner show at the Park Lane Hotel in Mayfair, London on February 5.
With both boxers aiming to win their first professional titles this year, they are keen to fight as often as possible and are packing these contests in before they return to the home of British boxing, York Hall, on March 7.
Boxing in Mayfair gives them the opportunity to showcase their skills in new surroundings and add to their already sizeable fan base.
“I’m grateful to both Ricky and Micky Helliet for getting us out so soon after Christmas. We want to fight as often as possible this year and we’ve got the chance to kick things off in style on February 5,” light-middleweight Pauly said.
“It’s always good to box in London and it’s great to be in front of a new crowd. We won’t disappoint.”
Welterweight Sonny added: “Although we grew up in Essex and Ireland, we were actually born in London so it’s great to be able to go back and show what we can do again.
“I want to start winning titles this year and I can’t afford to slip up, so I’m focusing on putting in the best performance I can in this next fight.”
