A star is born- Eddie Hearn takes a shine to Keeler

ON a night of mixed fortunes for Irish middleweights Luke Keeler may have just registered a career changing performance on the Return Of The Mack card.

‘Cool Hand’ took out Gary Boulden a fighter, who took reigning European Champion Billy Joe Saunders 10, Anthony Ogogo 5 and Eamonn O’Kane 6 in less than a round.

Not only did the victory impress the Ballyfermot man’s mother-who prefers when her son gets the business down quick- and the sizeable support, but it also caught the eye of Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn.

Hearn praised Keeler in post fight interviews and tweeted the following.
