Macklin excited by Coyle-Mitchell
27 October 2008 – by Mark Doyle
Matthew Macklin is expecting a great scrap when Mayos Henry Coyle collides with Birmingham native Delroy Mitchell in Castlebar, Mayo on November 15.
The light-middleweight bout, which has been scheduled for ten rounds, will feature on the undercard of Bernard Dunnes eagerly-anticipated clash with Eduardo Garcia and Macklin, a stable-mate of Mitchells, is anticipating a thrilling dust-up.
I think it will be a great fight, the Birmingham-based Irish middleweight enthused. Ive sparred them both and they are both excellent fighters.
Henrys very, very strong and hell obviously have great support with the fight being so close to home for him but Dees got great boxing ability and he can mix it up too when he needs to.
I cant really pick a winner but it should be a great scrap because theyre both exciting fighters.
