Spike O’Sullivan: I dropped Fitzgerald before and I will drop him again on November 15
GARY O’Sullivan says he knock out Anthony Fitzgerald in a sparring session before and has promised to emulate the feat at the Three Arena on November 15.
The Cork middleweight, who will finally settle his differences with the Dubliner on the Return of the Mack card, has vowed to out do Irish champion Eamonn O’Kane, former World champion Hassan N’Dam and world known Irish middleweight star Andy Lee by stopping ‘The Pride’.
O’Sullivan also indicates he will take pleasure in shutting up’ a fighter who he has verbal sparred with for a number of years now.
“‘Fitzy’s wanted to fight me years and we’ve both tried to make it happen at different times, but the timing is right for both of us now. He’s done a good job of running his mouth and giving everybody a good laugh at the press conferences, but he knows what’s coming,” said Spike.
“He knows that he can’t trouble me and he knows that he can’t live with my power. He knows that better than anyone in fact because the one time we sparred I knocked him out, and a month from now I’m going to do what Andy Lee, Eamon O’Kane and Hassan N’Dam couldn’t do and knock him out again, and then he can shut up.”
