Sugar Ray to fight for the first time this year next week

‘Sugar’ Ray Ginley will start putting a nightmare 2014 as he fights for the first time since December in the Ring of Dreams in North Carolina next week.

The 21 year old looked to have made a perfect start to the American dream when after relocating to Philadelphia he registered victory on a Stateside debut.

However, after defeating Marlin Washington and pushing his record to 5-0  in the Electric Factory the Belfast fighter found himself injured.

Ginley has since been out with shoulder trouble, but the Greenbloods fighter makes an eagerly awaited return against a yet to be named opponent on October 11.
