David Oliver Joyce just one win away from EU gold after semi final win

DAVID Oliver Joyce booked passage to his third successive EU Championships decider with an impressive win in Sofia today.

The Senior Champion, who competes at lightweight followed his comfortable 3-0 quarterfinal win over  Dawid Michelus from Poland with another one sided victory.

The 2008 and 2009 European champion defeated Lithuianan Edgaras Skuddelis to join Micheal O’Reilly as an Irish finalist.
