Royal Rumble? Amanda Serrano suggest she will battle four people when fighting Katie Taylor

Talented boxer and competitive MMA operator Amanda Serrano [38(28)-1(0)-1] isn’t talking about transitioning to WWE and the world of sports entertainment when she discusses fighting four people.

Rather the Puerto Rican hero suggests fighting Katie Taylor [15(6)-0] will be a mini Royal Rumble, hinting she will be up against more than just the Irish trailblazer when they share a ring.

The big punching genuine treat to Taylor’s unbeaten status says she will have to battle the undisputed world champion and the three scoring judges, when a fight originally scheduled for May 2 and now rumoured for July 4 eventually takes place.

The seven weight world champion claims the fact the fight looks likely to play out in England will benefit the Irish fighter.

“I need to have a strong mentality because the fight is [in the United Kingdom]. So, it’s not just fighting one person, it’s four people — it’s the three judges and Katie Taylor,” Serrano told BadLeftHook before suggesting she can have it any which way Taylor wants.

“I need to have a strong mind to go in there and I’m not gonna tell all my secrets, but I can box, I can brawl; I’m not one-dimensional. I can fight. I have a lot of heart, and I’m able to adjust.”

As per a lot of the Brooklyn based verbal digs, these ones were served in a compliment sandwich.

Throughout the interview the media savy entertainer was complimentary to her rival and seems genuinely excited about the fight.

“I just can’t wait to go and share that ring with such a great champion, she’s undisputed champion, she’s undefeated.

“I want to put on a hell of a show. We’re both considered the best. I know she’s training hard, and I’m training hard, too. I have a private gym for us, and I’ve been training hard, because I know that a fight against Katie Taylor is the big fight. I’m ready and she’s gonna be ready, too.”
