On the up Down Under – Wallace waltzes to debut win
Conor Wallace was one of two young Irish debutants to register a stoppage victory abroad over the weekend.
The Newry light heavy got his pro career off to an impressive start with a win Down Under.
Boxing in the Famous Fortitude Gym a venue Kildare World title hopeful Dennis Hogan and the likes of Jeff Horn debuted in, the Ulsterman registered a stoppage victory.
Wallace accounted for Sierra Leone puncher Aaron Seesay taking out the African with 12 seconds of the second stanza remaining.
It was the ideal start for the latest Irish fighter to punch for pay Down Under.
Wallace, who is managed by Steve Deller, will be out again in November.
The Newry man fights a yet to be confirmed opponent at the same venue on November 11th.
