AUL Premier A champions Usher Celtic are not resting on the laurels.
The Dublin side, who ended Sheriff’s Premier A’s six year dominance last season, have added to the already squad in a bid to ensure extended success.
Celtic have lost AUL Player of the Year and Top Scorer Steven Donnelly to Irish League side Glenavon, but managed to re- sign exciting attacking talent Jordan Buckley after his brief stint at Shelbourne.
The have also brought in Graham Curran, Sean Martin, Calvin Douglas, Paul Lynch and Troy Carey as they look to cement their status as the best of the AUL sides this season.
Douglas is an interesting acquisition the former Athlone Town player suffered a horrible leg break in a pre season friendly two seasons ago and the young talent makes his return with a side who will have FAI Junior Cup aspirations this season.
Another with LOI previous is Troy Carey, the midfielder has Bray Wanderers and UCD previous. Sean ‘Marley’ Martin also adds midfield options while Curran and Lynch have also signed.
