LSL Senior 1A new boys Kilnamangh have registered something of a transfer coup ahead of the new season.
The promoted side who are managed former Nottingham Forrest left back Keith Foy have secured the services of Karl Coleman.
There generally wouldn’t be too much excitement about signing a player from the LFL or Tallaght City, but Coleman has serious keeping pedigree.
The net minder was deemed good enough to play for Intermediate giants and curretn favourites from the Senior Sunday crown Crumlin United and Bluebell United.
The net minder also played League of Ireland football representing both UCD and Shamrock Rovers at the top end of the Irish game.
The 29 year old, who is known to Foy from their time at Bluebell United together, has enjoyed somewhat of a nomadic existence, but will look to establish routes at Kilnamanagh and has the potential to be one of the stars of the division next term.
