Hatton confirms long term Dublin plans

Ricky Hatton looks set to bring boxing back to Dublin.

‘The Hitman’, who coaches the Upton brothers, has confirmed he will work along side new comers FS Promotions for a June 25 National Stadium show.

That Summer show won’t be a once off, however, the former World Champion and constant fan favourite claims his association with the Dublin boxing scene will be ‘ongoing’.

“I am coming over to Dublin we are going to be doing some shows. June 25 is the first show It’s called the future all the top Irish and Dublin talent will be on the show and some of my guys,” Hatton said in a video posted on Buzz.ie.

“It will be an ongoing thing to be honest with you. The first one we want to be a really packed out venue. It’s called the future and hopefully it is the first of many to come.”
