Fight legend Miguel Cotto has revealed he will fight  again on June 18th at The Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, New York.

However, despite revealing the where and the when the four weight World champion has yet to confirm the who.

Limerick’s Andy Lee has been linked as a possible foe and has been calling for the clash and has been a name put forward by American boxing media.

There is a suggestion the former WBO World champion is seen as all wrong for the recently deposed WBC middleweight champion by his coach Freddie Roach and the latest round of rumours suggest James Kirkland, who like the future Hall of Famer has recently lost to Saul Alvarez, is in Cotto pole. 

Lee, who lost his WBO World middleweight title to Billy Joe Saunders last December, is hopeful of a big fight Stateside this Summer and will no doubt continue to push for a clash with the boxing mega star, but will have to explore back up options in case Kirkland beats him to the Cotto punch.
