2016 Pro Debut for Con Sheehan

Con Sheehan will punch for pay for the the first time next month.

The towering Tipperary heavyweight was due to fight later this month, but his start date has been pushed forward to January 19th.

Former elite amateur Sheehan has signed pro terms with Cork’s Gary Hyde and has relocated to the U.S West Coast where he is now trained by the World-famous Virgil Hunter and is a training partner of Andre Ward.

The news was broke by Sun Sport’s Kev Byrne, who revealed:
