Larry Fryers [11(4)-2(1)] suggests Ray Moylette [11(4)-1(0)] is talking to himself and for himself.

The Mayo half of the most intriguing Irish interest fight set for this weekend has been quite vocal in the build up.

Among other things he has called his opponent for the New England title ‘a club fighter’ and promised to send the New York based Monaghan man back to the ‘building site’.

However, Fryers is talking the deaf ear approach and claims it doesn’t matter what ‘Sugar Ray’ has to say.

‘Lethal Larry’ claims Moylette is trying to build his own confidence via his brash and bold statements.

“Honestly I don’t pay much attention to that stuff,” Fryers told Irish-boxing.com.

“If that’s what Ray needs to say to motivate himself then so be it. I have no control over that, all I can hope for is that we can give the fans what they deserve and that’s a great fight,” he adds before suggesting he feels Moylette is over looking him.

“I think Ray is overlooking me, which suits me just fine. As far as predictions go I just predict Ray will know that he has been in a fight when this is all said and done.”

Fryers goes into the bout on the back of a great camp and in confident mood, but doesn’t feel his activity will be an advantage over a fighter who hasn’t fought in over a year.

“I have had a great camp and I’m feeling great going into this fight both physically and mentally I’m flying.”

“I know Ray hasn’t fought for over a year, but he is a fighter who has been fighting nearly all his life so I don’t see the lay off having any barring on this fight.”
